These Air Fryer Dino Nuggets are the BEST way to make these. No microwave or oven needed; these Dino Nuggets are perfect for the kids. Kid tested; kid approved!
Chicken Nuggets are every parent’s simple lunch, dinner or snack to make for their kids. They are quick to make and almost every kid loves them!
These Air Fryer Dino Nuggets are hands down the best way to prepare chicken nuggets. No soggy nuggets from the microwave, and easier than cooking in the oven.
The Air Fryer is one of my favorite kitchen tools. Food prepared in an Air Fryer comes out crispy and full of flavor.
Chicken nuggets are now one of my favorite foods to cook in an air fryer.
How to make Dino Nuggets in an Air Fryer:
This is the easiest recipe on my blog. Just place your nuggets in the air fryer, and cook.
You want to pre-heat the air fryer for a little bit before cooking the nuggets. Pre-heat to 400 degrees, and then you are ready to go.
Ingredients:
- Dino Nuggets – or any other chicken nugget you want to use.
Directions:
Step One – Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees F.
Step Two – Place nuggets in the air fryer basket making sure they have enough room, so they do not touch.
Step Three – Cook for 4 minutes then remove air fryer basket and flip nuggets. Place basket back into the air fryer and cook for an addition 4 minutes.
Step Four – Remove and serve.
- Tip: Serve with your kids’ favorite dip like ketchup or ranch dressing.
What brands of Dino Nuggets should you use?
Honestly, we have tried all the major brands and off-brands. It really depends on where we went grocery shopping.
Walmart, Kroger, even Costco all carry these fun chicken nuggets. We had Yummy Dino Bites for this recipe but have tried Perdue and Tyson’s as well.
The thing is, the air fryer makes any brand of dino bites taste great.
How long should you cook chicken nuggets in an air fryer?
With all air fryers being a little different, overall, they still cook the same way. Preheat your air fryer before using so it is up to temperature.
Depending on how big your air fryer is will determine how many you can cook at one time.
You want to cook these for about 7 to 9 minutes.
Halfway through you want to flip the nuggets to get a good even cook on both sides.
