Baked Honey Garlic Chicken Legs on a cutting board

I love chicken legs especially when you find them on sale. They are so inexpensive and I can feed the entire family pretty cheap. Once to my favorites is my Baked BBQ Chicken Legs, it’s a classic and a family favorite.

Baked Honey Garlic Chicken Legs Instructions:

Step one: Get started by preheating your oven to 400 degrees F. Then prepare a baking dish with aluminum foil and set it aside.

Step two: Mix together flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish. Roll and coat each chicken leg then place it in the prepared baking dish.

Step three: Once coated place your chicken in the oven for 15 minutes.

Step four: Meanwhile in a small mixing bowl whisk together honey, garlic, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and cornstarch. Set aside to allow it to settle

Step five: Remove chicken and top with sauce. Return to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes or until cooked through.

Serving Ideas:

Wit the soy sauce these chicken legs to have a little bit of an Asian flavor to it. I love to serve mine with brown rice, baked garlic green beans (I love garlic!), and a salad. If you are serving these for a part instead of dinner you could use the same steps for a chicken wing. Just adjust your cooking time accordingly.
