BBQ chicken is a favorite around here. My family loves Baked BBQ Chicken Tenders for dinner and these BBQ Chicken Wings for game day. My husband requests these for every Super Bowl. They are the perfect food for your Super Bowl parties.

How to make BBQ Chicken Wings:

Start by mixing all your seasoning with the oil in a small bowl. Brush or rub the seasoning mixture on to your chicken wings.

You can do this up to 24 hours in advance if you like. If you do it in advance, place all the wings in a large Ziplock bag to marinade for however long before you plan on cooking them.

Place them on your prepared baking sheet with wire rack and then bake in the oven. Once done coat them with your favorite BBQ sauce. Serve with ranch or blue cheese and enjoy!

Frozen or thawed:

Fresh chicken wings are the best for this recipe. If you are using frozen then allow them to thaw completely and use a paper towel and pat dry.
Using frozen chicken will cause a lot of extra water and soggy chicken wings so making sure they are thawed or fresh is very important to get crispy skin.
