If you love eating cooking dough and can't help but lick the spoon when mixing batter you are going to LOVE this recipe. This frosting recipe is one of my favorites and can go on brownies are even cake and cupcakes!

How to make Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Frosted Brownies:

Step one: Get started by preparing the brownie mix according to package directions then set aside to cool.

    • Tip: This recipe can also be topped on cakes or cupcakes.

    adding batter to casserole dish

Step two: Now use a stand mixer or in a mixing bowl with a hand mixer beat brown sugar with butter until creamy.

Step three: Next add in the flour, vanilla, and salt. Then mix until everything is well combined.

Step four: Now at low speed slowly add in milk. I usually add in ¼ cup at a time until it's mixed in and the frosting is creamy.

Step five: Now remove the electric mixer and fold in chocolate chips with a spoon.

Step six: Spread frosting over cooked and cooled brownies. Slice and serve.

    • Optional: Top your frosting with more chocolate chips.

    Flour Safety:

When eating uncooked flour you will want to warm it to first to make sure it's safe. You can heat it in the oven at 350 for a few minutes or microwave until it reaches 160°.
