A fun craft for you the the kids! Make these along with your DIY Pilgrim hats, and have fun learning about Thanksgiving.
Below I have the printable version for a colored or black and white hat. Since my boy is a fan of coloring I printed out the hat and let him color and design his own!
I love how happy he is when doing crafts! He has such a sense of pride and wore and showed off his hat he made the rest of the day! We played pretend and talked about the Indians, Pilgrims, and the First Thanksgiving. Teaching these boys is one the biggest blessings and I love to watch them learn!
I didn’t ask Max to pose for any of these pictures. He is such a little ham, and loved having mommy take pictures of him in his hat!
What you need:
– Print, paper, and ink
-Tape or glue
The how to:
1. Print out your printable Indian hat cut out.
2. If you choose the black and white, use your crayons to color and design!
3. Tape together band to fit your head size (my three year old used two and a half)
4. Tape or glue on your colorful feathers. Then tape together your band and wear as a hat!
