Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

My mom used to tell us we would get a bellyache if we ate too much cookie dough. It’s sooo good though and so hard to resist. Well skip the bellyache and eat this Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough instead! I just creamed and mixed my ingredients as I would with cookies but skipped the eggs and baking powders. Grab a spoon or some fruit and get snacking.

  • Cream together butter and sugar.
  • Slowly add in milk and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  • Add sugar and flour and continue to mix until combined.
  • Fold in chocolate tips and dip in.

Flour Safety:

When eating uncooked flour you will want to warm it to first to make sure it’s safe. You can heat it in the oven at 350 for a few minutes or microwave until it reaches 160°.

    1. Made this as a gift. My best friend and I have a chocolate chip cookie (dough) thing going for years…not necessarily edible. Added this in a cute jar with a spoon to her gift. Of course I had to taste it to be sure it was truly good. First batch was pretty sweet and a bit grainy. Second batch, after I worked the kinks out, was FANTASTIC. This is a guft I can feel proud to give! Thank you.

  1. Revised my rating…5 stars! After I figured out the milk thing, it is so delish! My 15 year old loves it as well! Mmmmm….it’s going to be hard not to sneak into the frig for bites!!!
