This Lasagna Dip tastes just like the classic and is served with little garlic pieces of bread for dipping. It's an easy appetizer recipe that everyone loves.

Lasagna Dip in a clear casserole dish

My husband's favorite food has always been lasagna. This Lasagna Dip tastes just like the classic recipe and it's so simple to make. I sliced up bread and toasted with butter and garlic powder for serving.

    How to make Lasagna Dip:

Step one: Start by preheating your oven to 450 degrees. Prepare a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.

Step two: Next cook and crumble your ground sausage and beef and drain fat as needed.

Step three: To your skillet add in marinara sauce 1 teaspoon dried basil, onion powder, garlic powder. then place all of this into your prepared baking dish.

adding layers to the Lasagna Dip

Step four: Mix cottage cheese with 1 tablespoon of dried basil and then add this to the top of your beef.

    • Tip: If you aren't a fan of cottage cheese you can use ricotta cheese instead.

Step five: Top your dip with shredded mozzarella then place in the oven to bake for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted.

    How to Make Dippers:

Step one: Slice french bread and place the small pieces on a baking sheet.

Step two: Mix melted butter with garlic powder then brush onto each slice of bread. Bake for 5-10 minutes until bread is crusty and golden brown.

Step three: Serve lasagna dip with bread dippers and enjoy.
