Loaded with cheese, bacon, and fresh green onions and served with sour cream for dipping these Loaded Potato Wedges is a recipe you will want to try!

    Loaded Potato Wedges

Potatoes may be one of my favorite foods. In any form I'll take them. Baked, mashed, or in wedges I love them anyway. These Loaded Potato Wedges are baked crispy and then topped with shredded cheese, bacon, and fresh green onions. I served mine with a side of sour cream for dipping. You can serve these on game day or as a side dish. No matter how you serve them you are going to love them. I told you I love potatoes so make sure to check out all my potato recipes here on the blog.

How to make Loaded Potato Wedges:

    • Preheat oven  and prepare your baking sheer with foil and a wire rack then set aside.
    • Cut potatoes into wedges by cutting in half and then half again until you get the perfect wedge size. Place them into a large mixing bowl. Add olive oil, seasoning salt, pepper to potatoes and mix until evenly coated.
    • Place wedges on the wire rack and bake.
    • Remove from oven and remove wire rack. Place wedges on foil and top with cheese. Bake again until cheese is melted. Remove from oven and top with bacon and green onions

    Cooking Tips:

    • Try your best to get potatoes the same size and slice them into the same size. This way none of them are over or under cooked.
    • Soak your potatoes in water for about 10 minutes. Soaking them will help draw the water out of the potatoes and a potato with less water inside will be less mushy.
    • Bake your potatoes on a rack. This is one of my tricks to get the perfectly crispy potato wedge. You can of course make these without a rack if you don't have one just make sure to flip during cooking.
