When making my homemade meatball recipe I love making a few extras for the freezer. You can toss them in soups, with pasta, or use them for subs!

    How to make Meatball Subs:

Step one: Get started by preheating your oven to 400 degrees F. Then prepare a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.

Step two: Next prepare your meatballs. Place your ground beef, diced onion, bread crumbs, garlic powder, egg, grated parmesan cheese, salt,

Italian seasoning, and 2 tablespoons of marinara sauce. Mix together until well combined, but do not over mix.

Step three: Form balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Then bake for 15-20 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through.
    • Tip: Cooking time will vary depending on the size of you form your meatballs.

Step four: Add a few spoon fulls of marinara sauce to your sub roll. Place on cooked meatballs then mozzarella cheese. Place back into the oven until cheese is melted then serve.

    • Tip: Careful not to overdo the marinara and cause your subs to become soggy.
