I don’t even remember the last time that I boiled green beans. A few years ago my mother in law made me green beans like this and I LOVED them. So simple yet it changes the taste and I could eat them like candy. There has been a few days I make a skillet for lunch and snack on them all day. They are so simple that I never shared them until I made them for my mom and she wanted to know how I made them. I thought I would share with you all today this easy way to make green beans. How to make Skillet Green Beans:
- If using frozen green beans lay out to thaw.
- In a skillet melt butter.
- Add minced garlic then green beans.
- Cook until tender with a slight crisp.
What type of green bean should I use:
For this recipe I used and extra fine frozen green bean that I find at Aldi. You can use a fresh green beans as well. To get the crunch you would want to stay away from a canned green bean.
