Nothing is better than burgers in the summer. This classic Burger Recipe is one of my favorites. It's simple to make and topped with an easy homemade burger sauce.
Classic Burger:
I love a simple recipe. Burgers are on our menu often during the summer and even fall around here. They are so simple to make and my entire family loves them. This Burger Recipe is classic and made with a classic sauce that I even love to dip fries in!
Burger Recipe Instructions:
Step one: Preheat grill to medium/high.
Step two: In a mixing bowl combine ground beef with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. When just combined (don't over mix) then form patties. Place your patties right on the grill or cover and place in the fridge until you are ready to grill.
- Tip: Cold patties will cook better on the grill without falling apart.
How to grill a burger:
Step three: Cook your burgers 5-8 minutes turning once during that time. Add your cheese about 1 minute before done. Allow the cheese to melt then remove all the burgers from the grill.
Burger Sauce:
This sauce is simple to make but takes a burger from good to wow. To make this sauce you will need;
- mayonnaise
- ketchup
- pickle relish
Step four: Mix all ingredients together well.
Step five: When burgers are done add them to buns with your favorite burger toppings and your homemade burger sauce.
