Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice (fresh squeezed)

Instructions
 

  • Prepare rice according to directions.
  • When rice is cooked add salt, oil, chopped cilantro, and lime juice. Stir together until well combined.

Notes

A little tip when making this Cilantro Lime Brown Rice:
Depending on how much you like lime you can always add more or less. I love the bold flavor myself so served with lime wedges to squeeze on top. If you want more lime flavor, try adding lime zest when mixing in your lime juice.
Do you use the stems of Cilantro?
I will chop all of the leaves of cilantro but add a few stems. I will finely chop the stems as they have great flavor and it really adds to the rice.
