Double Chocolate M&M Cookies

These are one of my favorite cookies! They taste amazing and have a wonderful pop of color. You have to try these Double Chocolate M&M Cookies.

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
- ⅔ cup brown sugar
- ⅓ cup sugar
- ⅓ cup chocolate chips (melted)
- 1 large egg
- 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup mini baking M&M's
Add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt to a mixing bowl and whisk together.
In a stand mixer or using a hand mixer beat butter, brown sugar, and sugar together. Add in melted chocolate and continue to beat until combined. Last beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
Slowing add in flour mix to the stand mixer pausing to scrap the sides often.
Fold in mini baking M&M's. Wrap bowl with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 2 hours.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or a baking mat. Bake 8-10 minutes. Let the cookies set on the pan for 2-3 minutes before removing them and allowing them to cool on a cooling rack.
