Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup

Chicken noodle soup is my favorite winter recipe and a must for cold season! This Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup is easy to make and taste great!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound chicken breast (boneless and skinless)
  • 1 cup onion (chopped)
  • 1 ½ cups celery (chopped)
  • 2 cups carrots (peeled and chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 cup water
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • ½ teaspoon rosemary
  • ¼ teaspoon celery seed
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups egg noodles

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients except egg noodles to your slow cooker. Cook for 6-7 hours on low or for 4-5 hours on high.
  • Remove chicken, place in bowl then use forks to shred and return to the slow cooker. Add egg noodles and allow to cook for 10 more minutes.
  • Once noodled are cooked and tender serve.

Notes

What noodles to use:

You can use any pasta that you like for this recipe. My favorite is the egg noddles or spaghetti.
