Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Russet potatoes
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Seasoning salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and prepare your baking sheet with foil and a wire rack then set aside.
  • Cut potatoes into wedges by cutting in half and then half again until you get the perfect wedge size. Place your potatoes in a bowl of water and allow to soak for 10 minutes then pat dry.
  • Place your potatoes into a large mixing bowl. Add olive oil, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and pepper to potatoes and mix until evenly coated.
  • Place wedges on the wire rack and bake for 45-50 minutes turning every 20-30 minutes until fully cooked.

Notes

These wedges can be soaked longer if you would like, up to 2 or 3 hours. Soaking potatoes before baking or frying will draw out the starch and prevent them from sticking together
