Slow Cooker Taco Soup

My reader's favorite soup recipe is now made in the slow cooker. This Slow Cooker Taco Soup is simple to make and a favorite all around. Filled then topped with all your taco favorites.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 15 oz Corn
  • 2 cups Salsa
  • 2 cans Green chilies (small cans or to taste)
  • 15 oz Black beans
  • 2 tablespoons Taco seasoning
  • 1 ½ tablespoons Ranch seasoning
  • 2 cups Beef broth

optional for topping: sour cream, shredded cheese, fresh cilantro.

    Instructions
     

    • Cook and crumble ground beef. Drain fat and place in a slow cooker. 
    • Add all remaining ingredients to the slow cooker and mix well. Cook on low for 4-5 hours to on high for 2-3 hours. Serve warm topped with your favorite taco toppings. 

    Notes

    Topping Ideas: We love serving our taco soup with anything we would put in tacos. Here are a few ideas. Shredded cheese, Sour cream, Tortilla strips, Salsa, Cilantro, Jalapeños.
