Tater Tot Breakfast Casserole

Tater tots have always been one of my favorites and now I'm serving them up in this amazing Tater Tot Breakfast Casserole.

  • 1 pound Ground sausage
  • 2 pounds Frozen tater tots
  • 2 cups Colby jack cheese (shredded)
  • 1 1/2 cup Milk
  • 6 Eggs (whisked)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon Pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and prepare a casserole dish with non stick cooking spray.

  2. Cook and crumble ground sausage. Drain fat then add it to the prepared casserole dish. Next add in tater tots and mix together.

  3. Whisk together milk, eggs, and seasoning then pour it into the casserole dish. Add in 1 1/2 cups of cheese and mix until all ingredients are mixed well.

  4. Top with remaining cheese then bake for 50-55 minutes until cooked through. You know it's cooked when you can put a toothpick in and it comes out clean.
