Cake Mix Cookie Bars

Desserts don't have to be made from scratch to me be delicious. These Cake Mix Cookie Bars are made with a box cake mix and turned into amazing cookie bars. My entire family just loves this simple recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 15.25 oz yellow cake mix (1 box)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup baking M&Ms

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9x13 casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray then set aside.
  • Mix together cake mix, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Once mixed fold in ½ cup chocolate chips and ½ cup baking M&Ms.
  • Spread dough into your prepared dish then top with the remaining cup chocolate chips and baking M&Ms.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes then allow to cool completely. Slice into squares and serve.

Notes

  • Tip: Do not over spray your casserole dish. You just want a small amount to help from sticking. 
  • Tip: To help spread your batter start by spraying your spatula with nonstick cooking spray.
