- 1 pound chicken breast (boneless and skinless)
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ¼ cup apple juice
Place chicken in the slow cooker.
In a seperate bowl mix all the reamaining ingredients.
Pour sauce over your chicken in the slow cooker and cook for 5-6 hours on low or 4 hours on high.
Shred chicken and serve.
Don't Overcook: Cooking your chicken too long in the slow cooker can cause it to become dry. While chicken can be cooked on high if you are worried about overcooking I suggest cooking the chicken on low.
Do I have to shred the chicken? We serve this chicken over rice or pasta and like to shred the chicken. You can also serve the chicken without shredded it's on an optional step.
What kind of mustard should I use? I use dijon mustard for this recipe but you can also use yellow mustard.
