This Homemade Gravy is very easy to make, and you can make it with any turkey, chicken or beef meal. Follow the instructions below for this simple gravy recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup turkey drippings
  • 2 cups broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme (or to taste)
  • teaspoon ground sage (or to taste)
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Once butter is melted whisk in flour until all butter and flour is combined.
  • Slowly whisk in in turkey dripping then broth. Adding a little and mixing until it's incorporated into your flour and butter roux. If you have more drippings then 1 cup use it and then reduce the amount of broth until you have a total of 3 cups of both drippings and broth.
  • Bring to a boil then reduce heat and allow to simmer until gravy has thickened.
  • Add all seasoning to gravy. Mix and allow to simmer for 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat then serve and enjoy.
