Slow Cooker Cheeseburger Soup

 You are going to love this super simple Slow Cooker Cheeseburger Soup. It's such an easy recipe. It's simple to make and will become a favorite for sure.

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 4 cups Russet potatoes (cubed)
  • 15 oz Petite diced tomatoes (drained)
  • ½ cup Carrots (chopped)
  • ½ cup Celery (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Seasoning salt
  • ½ teaspoon Pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 4 cups Beef Broth
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 3 tablespoons Flour
  • 1 cup Heavy cream


  • Cook and crumble ground beef on the stove top. Once cook drain fat and add cooked beef to the slow cooker. 
  • Add vegetables to your slow cooker. Sprinkle in seasoning salt, pepper, and chili powder. Pour in broth and allow to cook on high for 4 hours.
  • After 4 hours add shredded cheese. In a separate bowl whisk together flour and cream until well combined then add it to the slow cooker. Allow to cook for 30 more minutes.



I used a 6-quart slow cooker.
When adding cheese, feel free to add Velveeta or Cream Cheese to make it thicker and cheesier.
If you wanted to add fully cooked and chopped bacon to the recipe do it with 30 minutes remaining to cook.
