These perfect Cheddar Ranch Mashed Potatoes are super creamy and smooth. They are a great side dish with your next steak or pork chop! Everyone will love them!

- 3 pounds Russet potatoes
- 4 tablespoons Butter
- ¼ cup Milk (more as needed)
- 4 oz Cream cheese (cubed)
- ½ oz Ranch seasoning
- ½ teaspoon Pepper
- ⅛ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 ½ cup Shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- 2 tablespoons Green onions (optional)
Place peeled and cubed potatoes in a large pot. Cover with water and allow to cook on medium/high until it reaches a boil. Reduce heat (medium) and cook until potatoes are tender. Drain water, turn off heat, and return to pot.
Add butter and milk and start mashing. Add cubed cream cheese and mash until melted and smooth. Add milk as needed to get the consistency you want.
Add all seasonings (ranch, pepper, salt, and garlic) and use a hand mixer to whip potatoes until smooth.
Last fold in cheese until melted. Serve with topped with diced green onions.
