Made with a sweet honey sauce whisked together with garlic and soy these Baked Honey Garlic Chicken Legs make the easiest dinner your entire family is going to love.

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon pepper
  • 2 pounds chicken legs or drumsticks
  • cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch


  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Prepare a baking dish with aluminum foil and set aside. 
  • Mix together flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish. Roll and coat each chicken leg then place in the prepared baking dish. 
  • Place chicken in the oven for 15 minutes. 
  • In a small mixing bowl whisk together honey, garlic, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and cornstarch. Set aside and allow to settle. 
  • Remove chicken and brush on sauce. Return to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes or until cooked through.


Serving Ideas:

Wit the soy sauce these chicken legs to have a little bit of an Asian flavor to it. I love to serve mine with brown rice, baked garlic green beans, and a salad.
If you are serving these for a part instead of dinner you could use the same steps for a chicken wing. Just adjust your cooking time accordingly.
