Teriyaki Pork Chops on a white plate with salad

Teriyaki Pork Chops

Jennie Duncan
These Teriyaki Pork Chops are my favorite way to make pork. It's such a simple recipe to make and so full of flavor. The pork comes out moist and tender.

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops (boneless)
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup rice vinegar
  • ¼ cup water
  • teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • optional: sesame seeds and green onion for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Prepare a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Place pork chops in your prepared dish. In a small mixing bowl whisk together your garlic, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, water, pepper, onion powder, and ground ginger. Pour this over your pork and bake covered for 30-40 minutes
  • Once the pork is fully cooked remove it from the baking dish and allow to rest for several minutes. Meanwhile, place the teriyaki sauce in the baking dish into a pan. Whisk in cornstarch and bring to a boil. Allow boiling while whisking until the sauce has thickened.
  • Pour your teriyaki sauce over pork and serve.
optional: I served mine with sesame seeds and green onion as garnish

Notes

  • I bake this covered so there will be no splatter and to help the moister stay in the casserole dish.
  • Don't skip boiling your sauce. This sauce is perfect to go over your pork and even in rice.
