Cinnamon Roasted Almonds

These Cinnamon Roasted Almonds are so simple to make and are the perfect treat.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 teaspoon cold water
  • 4 cups whole almonds
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Prepare a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
  • Lightly beat your egg white. Add water and continue to beat until frothy.
  • Add nuts to a large mixing bowl with egg whites and mix until well coated. Add in sugar, salt, and ground cinnamon. Toss to coat then spread out on your prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 1 hour stirring every 20 minutes until golden brown. Allow cooling then serve.

Notes

Other Flavors:

You can change up the seasoning to make these almonds in several different ways. Here are a few that we tried and loved. 
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin spice
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¾ teaspoon ground ginger 
  • ½ teaspoon cloves
