This Lasagna Dip tastes just like the classic and is served with little garlic pieces of bread for dipping. It's an easy appetizer recipe that everyone loves.

- ½ pound ground Italian sausage
- ½ pound ground beef
- 1 ½ cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon basil (dried)
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¾ cup cottage cheese
- 1 tablespoon basil (dried)
- 2 ½ cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)
Dippers:
- 1 french loaf
- ½ cup butter (melted)
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
Preheat oven to 450 degress. Prepare a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Cook and crumble ground sausage and beef and drain fat as needed.
To your skillet add in marinara sauce 1 teaspoon dried basil, onion powder, garlic powder. Place all of this into your prepared baking dish.
Mix cottage cheese with 1 tablespoon of dried basil and then add this to the top of your beef.
Top your dip with shredded mozzarella then place in the oven to bake for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Dippers:
Slice french bread and place the small pieces on a baking sheet.
Mix melted butter with garlic powder then brush onto each slice of bread. Bake for 5-10 minutes until bread is crusty and golden brown.
Serve lasagna dip with bread dippers and enjoy.
- Tip: If you aren't a fan of cottage cheese you can use ricotta cheese instead.
