5 Ingredient Parmesan Garlic Penne

This simple 5 Ingredient Parmesan Garlic Penne is made in 30 minutes or less. It's the perfect dinner recipe and one that my entire family loves.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 oz penne pasta
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil (or to taste)
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Cook penne pasta according to package direction then drain and set aside.
  • In a medium pot melt your butter and sauté garlic whisking until butter has started to become golden brown. Add basil and continue to whisk.
  • Add cooked pasta to your pot and toss until coated. Add grated parmesan cheese and toss until coated.

Notes

Tip: This recipe would work with just about any pasta. We even love it using spaghetti.

Leftovers

Keep in the fridge for 3-4 days in an airtight container.
To reheat you could microwave or place in a sauce pan with ¼ cup broth and reheat on the stove top.
