These Cinnamon Sugar Roasted Sweet Potatoes are the perfect side dish. Just 4 simple ingredients and some time in the oven to make this recipe.

  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon


  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Prepare a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray or parchment paper.
  • Dice sweet potatoes into even bite-size pieces then place in a mixing bowl.
  • Toss potatoes in oil. Once coated in oil add in brown sugar and cinnamon. Once sweet potatoes are coated place them on your baking sheet.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.


  • Tip: For a crispy potato make sure to spread out your potatoes on the baking sheet. Potatoes baked on top of one another will create steam and cause potatoes to become soggy. 
  • Tip: I usually serve these with roast turkey or chicken and a salad.
