Balsamic and Brown Sugar Pork Tenderloin
This super simple dinner recipe is one of my favorites. Balsamic and Brown Sugar Pork Tenderloin is so full of flavor and a recipe that my entire family loves.
- 2 pounds pork tenderloin
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 1 clove garlic (crushed)
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Place pork tenderloin into the slow cooker and season with thyme, salt, and pepper.
Whisk together garlic, broth, brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, and soy sauce. Pour over pork tenderloin in the slow cooker.
Cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low for 6-7 hours. Until pork is tender and cooked through.
Remove cooked pork and shred or slice to serve.
Add juice from slow cooker to a saucepan and whisk with cornstarch. Allow to cook on low until thickened. Pour sauce over your pork and serve.
- Tip: Other cuts of pork would also work for this recipe like a pork shoulder or butt.
