Balsamic and Brown Sugar Pork Tenderloin

This super simple dinner recipe is one of my favorites. Balsamic and Brown Sugar Pork Tenderloin is so full of flavor and a recipe that my entire family loves.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 clove garlic (crushed)
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions
 

  • Place pork tenderloin into the slow cooker and season with thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Whisk together garlic, broth, brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, and soy sauce. Pour over pork tenderloin in the slow cooker.
  • Cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low for 6-7 hours. Until pork is tender and cooked through.
  • Remove cooked pork and shred or slice to serve.
  • Add juice from slow cooker to a saucepan and whisk with cornstarch. Allow to cook on low until thickened. Pour sauce over your pork and serve.

Notes

  • Tip: Other cuts of pork would also work for this recipe like a pork shoulder or butt.
