Slow Cooker Shredded Beef Sandwiches

This Slow Cooker Shredded Beef Sandwiches is one of my favorite recipes. It's all cooked in the slow cooker then shredded and piled onto a bun.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 pounds chuck roast
  • 1 large onion (sliced)
  • 1 packet zesty italian mix
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 8 buns
  • 8 slices provolone cheese

Instructions
 

  • Place roast, onions, zesty Italian mix, and beef broth to your slow cooker.
  • Cook on low for 8 hours.
  • Once cooked shred and serve on a bun with cheese. Optional: place sandwiches in the oven to melt cheese.

Notes

  • Cooking on high could cause your roast to become tough. Low is slow is usually the best method.
