Sugar Water:
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup water
- 3 sprigs fresh mint (optional)
Lemonade:
- ½ cup lemon juice
- 1 large lemon sliced
- ¾ cup blackberries
- ¾ cup raspberries
- ¾ cup strawberries (sliced)
- 2 liters sparkling water
Sugar Water:
Start by placing water, sugar, and fresh mint in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir allowing sugar to dissolve in the water.
Remove from the heat and set aside. If you are using the mint cover and allow to steep for 15 minutes before removing the mint.
Lemonade:
Place ¼ cup blackberries, ¼ cup raspberries, and ¼ cup strawberries in a bowl and gently mash. You can use a mortar and pestle, like pictures or use a wooden spoon to muddle and mash your fruit.
Place muddled fruit into a large pitcher.
Add your sugar water, lemon juice, sliced lemon, and all remaining berries to your pitcher. Stir to combine.
Add sparkling water then ice and serve.
Can I skip the sparkly water? Yes, you can skip the sparkling water and just mix it in normal drinking water instead.
Frozen or Fresh Fruit: You can use either frozen or fresh fruit for this recipe. If using frozen allow it to be thawed so you can easily mash it.
