Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Prepare a baking sheet with foil.
Wash potatoes then slice into about 1/2 inch slices and place on a greased baking sheet.

Place in the oven and cook for 10-15 minutes, remove from oven and flip potatoes. Place back into the oven for 10-15 more minutes or until potatoes are tender. (Time will vary depending on how thick or thin you end up cutting your potato. The thinner they are the less time they will take.)
Top with shredded cheese and place them back into the oven just until cheese is melted.
Remove from oven and top with cooked and crumbles bacon and green onions.
