This Homemade Beefaroni recipe is easy to make and better than the box you buy at the store! Everyone will love this classic boxed dinner, done right!

Ingredients

  • 16 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 medium onion (chopped)
  • 3 tablespoons garlic (minced)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 30 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese (shredded)

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onions and cook until tender and translucent.
  • Add in minced garlic and allow to cook for 30 seconds then add in ground beef. Cook and crumble and drain fat as needed.
  • Add tomato sauce to ground beef and season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Add your drained cooked elbow macaroni to your skillet and mix with your ground beef and tomato sauce. Remove from heat and mix in cheese until melted.
  • Remove from heat and mix in cheese until melted. Serve and enjoy.
