Crack Chicken

- 2 pounds chicken breast (boneless and skinless)
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 oz dry ranch seasoning packet
- 8 oz cream cheese (1 block)
- 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup green onions (sliced)
Add chicken and chicken broth to your slow cooker and sprinkle on ranch seasoning. Cube cream cheese then place it on top of seasoned chicken.
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
Once chicken is cooked use a fork to shred chicken and mix well.
Add cheese, bacon, and green onions to the slow cooker and mix to combine. Serve over rice and enjoy.
Storage and Reheating
Refrigerator
Store leftover Crack Chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days.
Freezer
Cream cheese can change texture slightly after freezing, but Crack Chicken can still be frozen. Allow it to cool completely, then store it in a freezer-safe container for up to 2–3 months.
Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.
Reheating
Reheat leftovers gently in the microwave or in a saucepan over low heat. Add a small splash of chicken broth or milk if the chicken has become too thick.
