Homemade Gravy
This Homemade Gravy is very easy to make, and you can make it with any turkey, chicken or beef meal. Follow the instructions below for this simple gravy recipe.

- 3 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 cup turkey drippings
- 2 cups broth
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme (or to taste)
- 1/8 teaspoon ground sage (or to taste)
- salt and pepper (to taste)
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Once butter is melted whisk in flour until all butter and flour is combined.
Slowly whisk in in turkey dripping then broth. Adding a little and mixing until it's incorporated into your flour and butter roux. If you have more drippings then 1 cup use it and then reduce the amount of broth until you have a total of 3 cups of both drippings and broth.
Bring to a boil then reduce heat and allow to simmer until gravy has thickened.
Add all seasoning to gravy. Mix and allow to simmer for 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat then serve and enjoy.
