Ingredients

  • 3 Teabags
  • 6 cups Water
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 3 small Fresh peaches

Instructions

  • Start by preparing your tea. Boil 6 cups of water and allow 3 teabags to seep until tea is made (about 5-10minutes). Set aside.
  • Peel and slice peaches and remove the pit. Use a masher to crush peaches and place them in a pot with 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar. Bring to boil then return to medium heat and stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to sit for 30 minutes.
  • Remove fruit pieces by straining the peach syrup through a strainer. Once strained add this peach syrup to your brewed tea.
Serve on ice and enjoy it!

Notes

Tip - Some alternatives to sugar could be Stevia, Monk fruit, Honey, or Agave Nectar.
Tip - It is important to strain the tea, as the chunky peaches would be hard to drink with a straw.
Tips for making a good Sweet Tea:
  1. Be careful not to burn the sugar when dissolving in the boiling water. Be sure to stir the water and sugar constantly so as to not burn it.
  2. Use a sugar alternative like Stevia or Monk fruit instead of sugar.
  3. Serve over ice and with slices peaches for some added flavor.
