Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders (boneless and skinless)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 2 lemons (juiced)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon thyme (dried)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)

Instructions

  • Place chicken tenders in a large bag. Place garlic powder, thyme, and salt into a small mixing bowl.
  • Add melted butter and lemon juice to seasoning. Mix together well then pour into the baggy with the chicken tenders.
  • Preheat oven to 350°  F. Pour marinated chicken into a casserole dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

Do I have to marinate all night?

Of course not, it is your chicken after all. Feel free to bake the chicken right away but allowing it to marinate overnight will bring the flavor thought out the entire chicken tender. If you could just do 1-3 hours I think that would even do the trick. Just know that the longer you allow it to set the better it will taste.
