These simple Lemon Garlic Chicken Tenders are made with just a few ingredients and full of flavor. Served warm with dinner or chilled and tossed into a salad.
Chicken tenders are the best! I love making them for easy dinners but I also love making them for meal prep! They are perfect to make ahead of time and add to salads or dice up with some lettuce in a wrap.
No matter how you decided to serve these Lemon Garlic Chicken Tenders I think you will love them.
I even got my kids to eat this one. They really loved my lemon pepper chicken tenders that are breaded with lemon pepper seasoning so I thought this would be another great option for them.
How to make Lemon Garlic Chicken Tenders:
Step one: Place chicken tenders in a large bag. Place garlic powder, thyme, and salt into a small mixing bowl.
Step two: Add melted butter and lemon juice to seasoning. Mix together well then pour into the baggy with the chicken tenders.
Step three: Preheat oven to 350° F. Pour marinated chicken into a casserole dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Serve and enjoy.
Do I have to marinate all night:
Of course not, it is your chicken after all.
Feel free to bake the chicken right away but allowing it to marinate overnight will bring the flavor thought out the entire chicken tender.
If you could just do 1-3 hours I think that would even do the trick. Just know that the longer you allow it to set the better it will taste.

I liked it, although it went a little heavy on the thyme. I will use it again with less thyme. I marinated for 2 hours and made rice and sautéed greens for a side. Light and healthy 🙂
