Chocolate Cookies with Pumpkin Candies, perfect for Halloween!

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 1 /2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1.4 teaspoon salt
- 1.2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
- ½ cup chocolate chips (melted)
- ⅓ cup sugar
- ⅔ cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 cup pumpkin or Halloween sprinkles
Whisked together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Once combined set aside.
Using a stand mixer or electric mixer beat softened butter with melted chocolate, sugar, and brown sugar. Once well-combined add in the egg, vanilla extract, and milk. Add in dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
Place dough in the fridge and allow to chill for at least 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper
Mix in sprinkles and then scoop out 1 ½ tbsp of dough. Place cookie onto your prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12-13 minutes. Allow to cool on the baking shet for 1-2 minutes then remove.
