Slow Cooker Cranberry Apple Oatmeal
This Slow Cooker Cranberry Apple Oatmeal is a healthy and hearty breakfast that is simple to make.
- 6 cups water
- 3 cups old-fashion oats
- 2 apples (peeled and chopped)
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 2 tablespoons butter (unsalted)
- 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Spray your slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
Add all ingredients to your slow cooker and mix.
Cook on low for 5-6 hours or until oats are cooked.
Serve with milk or brown sugar.
Make sure to not overcook your oats. Not all slow cookers cook the same so it's best to keep an eye on it and serve once cooked and soft.
I love making this and serve it the next day. Allow to cook during the day and then store in an airtight container in the fridge. Then warm up servings as you eat them.
