This Chocolate Chip Scones is so simple to make and made with pancake mix. Loaded with chocolate chips it makes the perfect sweet breakfast or even simple dessert.

  • 2 cups pancake mix
  • ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • cup heavy whipping cream
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla


  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or nonstick cooking spray.
  • Stir together pancake mix, chocolate chips, whipping cream, just 3 tablespoons of sugar, egg, and vanilla. Mix until a dough has formed.
  • Form and pat dough into a circle on your prepared baking sheet. (tip: rub extra pancake mix on fingers to help with sticky dough). Once you formed your circle sprinkles the remaining 1 tablespoon on sugar on top.
  • Cut your dough unto 8 slices but do not separate them.
  • Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and slice to separate slices. Serve warm and enjoy.


  • Tip: Dip your fingers in extra pancake mix to help with sticky dough.
