- 42 oz Strawberry Pie Filling (2 cans)
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced)
- 13.25 oz box vanilla cake mix (1 box)
- ½ cup butter (1 stick)
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a 9x13 casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray or oil.
Add strawberry pie filling to the bottom of your prepared casserole dish.
In a separate bowl add soften cream cheese, vanilla, and sugar and beat with hand mixer until creamy. Fold in 1 cup of fresh sliced strawberries.Then add this to the top of the strawberry pie filling.
Melt butter and mix with cake mix then crumble over strawberries and cream cheese.
Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Let it set for 10 mins then serve topped with vanilla ice cream.
