Patties:
- 1 pound Ground beef
- ⅓ cup Bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
- 2 teaspoons Ketchup
- ½ teaspoon Mustard
- ¼ teaspoon Seasoning salt (or to taste)
Gravy:
- 1 teaspoon Oil
- 2 tablespoons Onion (diced)
- 2 teaspoon Garlic (minced)
- 2 cups Water
- 2 packages Brown gravy mix
- ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Ketchup
Start by adding all ingredients for the patties into a large mixing bowl. Mix together well with hand and form 4 patties. Place in a warm greased pan and cook for 5 minutes on each side medium/low heat. Remove patties from pan and set aside.
Add oil to the warm pan. Add minced garlic and diced onions to the skillet and allow to cook for 2-3 minutes or until they have become slightly tender and translucent.
Add water to the pan and bring to a boil. Whisk in gravy mix and mix until well blended. Add Worcestershire sauce and ketchup and mix.
Place all patties back into your pan with the gravy and allow to cook on low for 2-3 more minutes.
Serve and enjoy I served mine with mashed potatoes and green beans.
Cooking Tip: No need to fully cook the patties here, as you will want to cook them a little later when adding them back to the gravy later.
