Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup Onion (chopped)
  • 8 oz Tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Seasoning salt
  • 2 cans Biscuit dough (16 total biscuits)
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Cook and crumble ground turkey. Drain fat then return back to the stove top. Add in diced onions. Allow to cook for 2-3 minutes. 

  2. To your turkey add tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, seasoning salt, and brown sugar. Mix well then add cornstarch. Allow cooking again for 2-3 minutes to thicken. 

  3. Preheat oven to what your biscuit dough instructions have called for. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and set aside. 

  4. Flatten out each biscuit then add a spoon full of your sloppy Joe mix in. Fold over and press to seal with a fork. Place on your prepared baking sheet and repeat. Spray the tops of your biscuits with the cooking spray then bake. Bake according to your package instructions. Mine took about 10-13 minutes. Once baked serve and enjoy.
