BBQ Meatballs

These BBQ Meatballs are a great appetizer for a party, or you can serve them as the main course! Made with frozen meatballs, your favorite BBQ sauce and some brown sugar these are super easy to make and taste great!

Ingredients

  • 32 oz frozen meatballs
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  • Place frozen meatballs into your slow cooker.
  • Mix BBQ sauce and brown sugar and pour over meatballs.
  • Cook on low for 5 hours or on high for 3 hours or until meatballs are warm throughout. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

Pro Tip: Frozen meatballs work best for this recipe. If you want to use homemade meatballs, I suggest freezing them, so they don't all stick together. To freeze meatballs, I place them on a baking sheet and into the freezer. Uncooked frozen meatballs will need more time to cook in the slow cooker.
How to serve BBQ Meatballs:
You can serve these two ways. They are a great served as a party appetizer. Place them all on a tray with toothpicks nearby to grab them.
Serve them as a main course as well! I will serve the meatballs as the main entree with mashed potatoes or rice as a side and a vegetable.
