Chipotle Mayo

Chipotle Mayo is the perfect dipping sauce for fries, tacos or a variety of other foods. Smokey and a little heat from the chipotles, this creamy sauce is excellent!

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Mayonnaise
  • ¼ Cup Sour Cream
  • 3 Chipotle Chilies from Can
  • 1 Tablespoon Adobo Sauce from Can
  • 1 Teaspoon Honey
  • ½ Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Paprika

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor.
  • Blend until smooth.

Notes

  1. This mayo has a medium heat. If you would like to increase the heat add ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper or use spicy paprika. To decrease the heat use less of the adobo sauce from the can and/or less chipotle peppers. 
  2. If you do not have honey on hand you can substitute with Karo syrup.
  3. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 2 weeks. Do not freeze, as mayo will separate when frozen.
