Ground Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ medium onion (diced)
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp dried parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp pepper (or to taste)
  • 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup (1 can)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Egg noodles for serving

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a skillet. Add in ground beef and cook and crumble. Add in diced onions then minced garlic and cook until tender and onions are translucent.
  • Add in flour and mix until absorbed and no lumps remain.
  • Add in broth, worcestershire sauce, dried parsley flakes, and salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer and allow to simmer on low for 4-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Add in cream of mushroom soup and sour cream. Add more seasoning to taste.
  • Cook egg noodles according to package directions and serve with stroganoff on top.
