- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- ½ medium onion (diced)
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp dried parsley flakes
- 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 tsp pepper (or to taste)
- 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup (1 can)
- 1 cup sour cream
- Egg noodles for serving
Heat oil in a skillet. Add in ground beef and cook and crumble. Add in diced onions then minced garlic and cook until tender and onions are translucent.
Add in flour and mix until absorbed and no lumps remain.
Add in broth, worcestershire sauce, dried parsley flakes, and salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer and allow to simmer on low for 4-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Add in cream of mushroom soup and sour cream. Add more seasoning to taste.
Cook egg noodles according to package directions and serve with stroganoff on top.
