Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 24 oz Frozen Hash Brown Potatoes
  • 2 cups Sour Cream
  • 10.5 pz Cream of Chicken Soup ( 1 can)
  • ½ cup Butter (melted)
  • 2 ½ cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese (divided)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a 9x13" casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
  • In a skillet cook and crumble ground beef over medium heat. Add in onion and garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Drain fat as needed then season ground beef with salt and pepper to taste.
  • In a large mixing bowl place frozen hash brown, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, melted butter, and 1 3/4 cups of shredded cheese. Mix until combined then add in ground beef mixture and mix again until combined.
  • Scoop mixed ingredients into the prepared casserole dish and top with remaining cheese.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes or until casserole is warm throughout.
