Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast (boneless and skinless)
  • 1 oz taco seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 cup colby jack (shredded)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven 375 degrees F. Prepare a 9x13 casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Season chicken with taco seasoning and then place in the prepared casserole dish. Pour salsa over chicken.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30-35 minutes until chicken is cooked through. Remove chicken from the oven.
  • Top chicken with shredded cheese and then place back into the oven for 4-5 minutes until cheese is melted.
  • Remove from oven and serve. Optional: serve garnished with fresh cilantro.
