Servings: 8 servings
- 64 oz Apple Juice
- 4 sticks Cinnamon
- 1/2 tablespoon Cloves (whole)
- 1/4 cup Brown sugar
- 1 large Gala apple (sliced and cored)
Pour apple juice into the slow cooker.
Add cinnamon sticks, cloves, brown sugar, and apple slices (without seeds) to the slow cooker with juice.
Cook on high for 1 1/2 hours or on low for 3 hours. Cook until apples are tender.
Be sure to get any seeds that may be straggling behind when you slice your apples. Seeds are just an extra thing to strain later.
Mashing your apples really get that good apple pulp and flavor into your cider. Due to the pulp though you definitely need to strain before drinking.
